They are seeking a forward-thinking Chief People Officer to join their leadership team and help shape the future of their workforce.
The Chief People Officer (CPO) will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, team initiatives, and people programs that align with the company's overall mission, culture, and goals. This role ensures the overall happiness, well-being, and top-notch performance of teams, employees, and management. Key focus areas include working with other aspects of the business to manage staff growth, staff welfare, work-life balance, performance reviews and rewards, managing high-fliers, placement of staff in the right fit, career progression, employee relations, training and development, and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. The CPO should be familiar with and experienced in using digital tools for the workplace.
Develop and Implement HR Policies: Align people policies and procedures with the company's goals and values while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Employee Growth and Welfare: Develop and implement programs that foster a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and professional development, especially for younger staff.
Business and Sales Growth: Work with the CEO and the other managers to contribute and drive the growth of sales revenues and profits. The CPO must possess some business acumen and understanding of the sales process.
Digital Strategy Implementation: Work with the IT and other teams to Design and implement digital strategies driven by recent technologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in people and Company operations.
Talent Management: Play a key role in attracting, hiring, onboarding and retaining top talent to fuel the company's growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team and managers to ensure people strategies are aligned with sales and growth.
Performance Management: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management, career development, and employee engagement.
Training and Development: Develop and implement training and development programs that align with the company's goals and support employee growth.
HR Metrics: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop strategies to address areas of concern.
Compliance: Stay up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments to align HR operations with overall business objectives.
Work Culture: Create and foster a work environment where individuals feel respected, motivated, and treated fairly.
A Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline will do. A Master's degree is a plus that will be strongly considered.
Must have concluded HR related, leadership and other training and certifications with evidence.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles (at least 3 years in senior leadership), preferably in the tech or digital media industry.
Experience working in a high-paced, digital environment with younger audience with proven experience with HR digital solutions
Must have led a team with proven records of successful delivery of projects
Successful implementation of HR policies and procedures in a corporate setting
Deep understanding of all relevant labor laws and regulations
Should have at least 2-3 years in a sales role (where possible)
